Tar removal is a big chore, but it is worth it when there is existing hardwood flooring underneath in otherwise excellent condition.
This job started with the removal of tile and then the challenge of tar removal. In the end, the sanded hardwood floors showed no evidence of tar. The existing hardwood floors were a hidden gem. Refinished and coated with polyurethane, the restored hardwood floors have a smooth satin finish.
